Prosecco is a DOC class wine produced following strict rules in five provinces of the Veneto region (Treviso, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Belluno) and in four provinces of the Friuli Venezia Giulia
region (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine). Prosecco DOC is a wine that should be savoured young to best enjoy its aroma and flavour. Bottles should be kept in a dry and cool place away from sources of light and heat. In April 2015 during a selection of sparkling wines of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, named Filari di bolle organised by Procasarsa, De Claricini Prosecco came first within the category of Charmat Prosecco DOC.
